Heinrich Klaasen took an excellent catch to dismiss Ayush Mhatre during the ongoing IPL 2026 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings on Saturday.

Ayush Mhatre played an aggressive knock, scoring 30 off 13 balls before his dismissal. Nitish Kumar Reddy delivered a length ball outside off stump. Mhatre attempted a big hit but failed to control the stroke.

The ball traveled towards the cover region. Klaasen reacted quickly and moved to his left. He timed his jump well and stretched both hands to complete the catch. He maintained control even after landing and rolling on the turf. The dismissal left Chennai at 66/2.

Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad had posted 194/9 against Chennai Super Kings. Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen led the scoring with 59 runs each. Abhishek dominated early with a 15-ball fifty. SRH crossed 70 in the power play before Mukesh Choudhary struck twice in 2 balls. He dismissed Travis Head and Ishan Kishan to slow the momentum.

Jamie Overton removed Abhishek and Aniket Verma, who scored 2. He later dismissed Nitish Kumar Reddy for 12 off 8 balls to complete his third wicket. Klaasen anchored the innings at the other end. He reached his fifty before Anshhul Kamboj bowled him. Gurjapneet Singh dismissed Salil Arora for 13. Kamboj picked 3 wickets, including Shivang Kumar for 12 and Liam Livingstone for 1, restricting SRH to 194.
