Finn Allen smashed an unbeaten century off 47 balls as Kolkata Knight Riders secured a win over Delhi Capitals by eight wickets in their IPL 2026 match. KKR chased down 143 in just 14.2 overs.

KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and chose to bowl first. Delhi finished on 142/8 in 20 overs after losing wickets regularly despite a brisk start. Pathum Nissanka played the best knock for DC with 50 off 29 balls, hitting three fours and two sixes at a strike rate of 172.41. KL Rahul added 23 from 14 balls, while Ashutosh Sharma made 39 off 28 deliveries with three boundaries and a six.

DC, however, kept losing wickets at key moments. KKR’s bowlers controlled the innings superbly. Sunil Narine returned figures of 1/17 in four overs, while Kartik Tyagi and Anukul Roy picked up two wickets each.

The chase turned into a one-sided show after KKR slipped to 31/2. Finn Allen then destroyed the bowling attack with 10 sixes and five fours at a strike rate of 212.77. He shared an unbeaten 116-run stand with Cameron Green, who scored 33 off 27 balls.

Rahane also fell in unusual fashion after Starc collected the ball off his own delivery and produced a direct-hit run out at the non-striker’s end. DC bowlers had no answers as KKR finished at 147/2 with 34 balls remaining.
