Lightning Stumping By Sanju Samson Breaks GT Opening Stand, Sends Shubman Gill Packing

Sanju Samson’s sharp stumping off Noor Ahmad removed Shubman Gill in the CSK vs GT IPL 2026 match, leaving GT at 58/1.

Chennai Super Kings picked up their first wicket in the GT chase during IPL 2026. Shubman Gill fell after a sharp stumping by Sanju Samson.

Noor Ahmad delivered a fuller ball around the leg stump in the 7th over. Gill stepped forward to play but missed as the ball turned away. Samson collected cleanly and removed the bails in one swift motion.

The third umpire checked the decision and confirmed the dismissal. Gill’s back foot stayed in the air when the bails came off.
