Mohsin Khan did a blunder with the ball and missed a golden run out opportunity to dismiss Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
Lucknow Super Giants pacer Mohsin Khan produced what could easily go down as the biggest missed opportunity of IPL 2026 after fumbling a simple run-out chance against Rajasthan Royals youngster Vaibhav Sooryavanshi during Match 64 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
The dramatic moment unfolded in the 14th over of Rajasthan’s daunting chase of 221 runs. At that stage, RR were already cruising at 180/1, with Sooryavanshi batting aggressively alongside Dhruv Jurel.
Mohsin, who had earlier dismissed the dangerous youngster later in the innings, found himself at the center of an unforgettable fielding blunder.

Mohsin Khan Misses Absolute Sitter Against Vaibhav Sooryavanshi
The incident took place on the very first ball of the 14th over. Mohsin Khan bowled a good-length delivery outside off stump to Dhruv Jurel, who guided the ball towards Digvesh Rathi at short third man.
Jurel initially called for a single before stopping midway, leaving Vaibhav Sooryavanshi stranded almost halfway down the pitch. The throw from the deep reached Mohsin comfortably at the non-striker’s end, and the pacer had all the time in the world to complete a simple underarm run-out.
However, in a moment that stunned everyone, Mohsin completely missed the stumps despite Sooryavanshi virtually giving up on returning to the crease. The ball rolled away, allowing Rajasthan Royals to sneak an overthrow as well.
Even Lucknow captain Rishabh Pant could only react with a wry smile after witnessing the shocking error. Watch the video below:
