Pat Cummins has been reportedly declared fit after injury, set to return for SRH in IPL 2026 following successful scans in Australia.
Sunrisers Hyderabad received a major boost in IPL 2026 as Pat Cummins has reportedly recovered from his injury. The fast bowler missed the early part of the season after leaving India midway for follow-up scans in Australia due to a stress issue.
According to reports from ESPNcricinfo, recent scans confirmed full recovery, and Cummins is now set to return to competitive action soon. He is expected to fly back to India on April 17.
Notably, Pat Cummins has targeted a return in IPL 2026 during Sunrisers Hyderabad’s match against Rajasthan Royals on April 25 in Jaipur. He shared the update while replying to a comment on social media.
Cummins has been recovering from a lumbar bone stress injury suffered in August. The issue restricted him to 1 match in Australia’s 4-1 Ashes win over England. He also missed the 2026 T20 World Cup, where Australia exited in the Super 8 stage.
Pat Cummins leads SRH, but Ishan Kishan captained the side during his absence. The team currently sits fourth on the table with 3 wins and 2 defeats from 5 matches.
