Rajasthan Royals Confirm Retention List and Remaining Purse for 2026 Auction

Take a look at Rajasthan Royals retention list and released list ahead of the IPL 2026 auction, along with their remaining purse.

Rajasthan Royals move into another season still searching for their second IPL title, 17 years after their win in 2008. The franchise has experimented extensively over the years, from changes in coaching staff to shifts in playing philosophy, yet trophy has remained elusive. Their strongest came between 2022 and 2024, when they reached a final and secured a playoff berth after an impressive start in another season.

Major changes continued last year as Rahul Dravid replaced Kumar Sangakkara, Jos Buttler exited, and Sanju Samson missed several matches due to injury. Ahead of IPL 2026, the team has made another bold decision by trading Samson to Chennai Super Kings in exchange for Ravindra Jadeja.
