
Rohit Sharma returned to the Mumbai Indians training camp ahead of IPL 2026, appearing in top fitness as the team began preparations for the new season.
Mumbai Indians have started their preparations for the Indian Premier League(IPL) 2026 season, which starts on March 28. Several players reported to the training camp during the first phase. The early group included Shardul Thakur, Mayank Markande, Allah Ghazanfar, Naman Dhir and Raja Angad Bawa. Robin Minz, Raghu Sharma, Mayank Rawat, Danish Malewar, Mohammad Izhar and Ashwani Kumar also joined the session.

Rohit Sharma appeared during the training camp and looked in strong physical condition while wearing the new Mumbai practice kit. The opening day started with structured fitness routines. Trainers guided players through agility drills, movement exercises and fitness checks.

Captain Hardik Pandya and pacer Jasprit Bumrah are expected to join soon. Mumbai will begin IPL 2026 against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 29 at Wankhede Stadium.
