Rajasthan Royals (RR) secured an eight-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2026 at Guwahati on Monday. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi led the chase with 52 off 17 balls. Yashasvi Jaiswal stayed unbeaten on 38 off 36 balls. RR reached 128/2 in 12.1 overs while chasing 128.
Earlier, RR bowled out CSK for just 127 in 19.4 overs. Riyan Parag’s bowling plans worked effectively in the first innings. CSK lost early wickets and struggled to build partnerships. Nandre Burger picked up 2 key wickets, including Sanju Samson for 6. Jofra Archer dismissed Ruturaj Gaikwad (6) early. Brijesh Sharma claimed his maiden wicket, removing Kartik Sharma for 18. Parag had won the toss and chose to bowl first.
