Vaibhav Suryavanshi hit Jasprit Bumrah for 2 sixes in a single over during the rain-affected RR vs MI IPL 2026 match in Guwahati.

Rain delayed the RR vs MI IPL 2026 toss by nearly 3 hours in Guwahati. The Barabati Stadium is now hosting an 11-over match on Tuesday night. Rajasthan Royals came out attacking.

After being put to bat first, Vaibhav Suryavanshi lit up the ground with fearless batting against Jasprit Bumrah in Guwahati. Suryavanshi attacked the star pacer and smashed a six off his first ball. He followed it with another six later in the same over.

The teenager struck 2 sixes off Bumrah and scored 12 runs off his deliveries. Bumrah conceded 14 runs in the over. He impressed with 39 off 14 before falling to Shardul Thakur. Tilak Varma completed the catch near the boundary.

Earlier, Hardik Pandya won the toss and chose to bowl first. Yashasvi Jaiswal set the tone by scoring 22 runs in the opening over against Deepak Chahar. Rajasthan Royals lost momentum after Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s dismissal for 39. Allah Ghazanfar struck in his first over, removing Dhruv Jurel for 2. The batter reviewed the decision but wasted DRS. The Royals slipped to 84/2 in 5.4 overs after a strong start.

Despite the slowdown, Yashasvi Jaiswal kept control of the innings. He produced a brilliant knock and remained unbeaten on 77 off 32 balls. His strike rate touched 240.6. Rajasthan Royals reached 150/3 in 11 overs.
