Royal Challengers Bengaluru continues preparations for their second match of the IPL 2026 season. They next face the Chennai Super Kings at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 5. The camp appeared relaxed and upbeat ahead of the high-profile match.
During one of RCB’s training sessions, star batter Virat Kohli was captured imitating Romario Shepherd’s unique batting style. The fun moment quickly drew attention from teammates. Kohli later shared a laugh with captain Rajat Patidar after the act.

In their first match of the tournament, the defending champions began strongly against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Kohli produced an unbeaten 69 off 38 balls, hitting 5 fours and 6 sixes. RCB chased 202 with more than 4 overs remaining. Kohli added 101 runs with Devdutt Padikkal, who also scored 61 off 26 balls. The partnership sealed a comfortable win. Meanwhile, Romario Shepherd continued to impress as an all-round option, picking up 3 wickets in the opening match.
