Gujarat Titans pacer Mohammed Siraj produced an animated reaction after dismissing Rajasthan Royals youngster Vaibhav Sooryavanshi during the high-voltage IPL 2026 clash in Jaipur.

The encounter between the experienced Indian pacer and the 15-year-old batter became one of the major talking points of the game as Rajasthan chased a daunting 230-run target.

The contest between the two began in explosive fashion, with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi welcoming Mohammed Siraj by launching the very first ball he faced for a six. The teenager continued his fearless approach and attacked Siraj aggressively, smashing three more boundaries in the same spell and putting Gujarat Titans under pressure early in the innings.

However, Siraj responded strongly on the fifth delivery of the third over. Bowling a sharp short ball, the GT pacer hurried the batter into a mistimed pull shot. Vaibhav failed to middle the ball properly, and Arshad Khan completed the catch safely in the deep.

What followed was an aggressive celebration from Mohammed Siraj, who roared in delight after ending the youngster’s dangerous knock. The wicket brought much-needed relief to Gujarat Titans after RR’s rapid start in the chase.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Continues Fearless IPL 2026 Run

Before getting dismissed, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi once again showcased his fearless batting style at the top of the order. The Rajasthan Royals youngster hammered 36 runs from just 16 balls, striking three fours and three sixes during his entertaining cameo.

The teenager has emerged as one of the most dangerous powerplay batters in IPL 2026. So far this season, Sooryavanshi has scored 359 runs from only 148 deliveries during the powerplay phase at a stunning strike rate of 242.56.
