Mukul Choudhary fulfills a lifelong dream by meeting Virat Kohli after RCB’s win over LSG in IPL 2026.

Match No. 23 of the IPL 2026 saw Royal Challengers Bengaluru deliver another strong performance as they defeated Lucknow Super Giants by five wickets. With this victory, RCB climbed to the top of the points table, continuing their impressive run in the tournament.

The reigning champions have looked in exceptional form, combining solid batting displays with disciplined bowling efforts. Despite a competitive total from LSG, RCB comfortably chased down the target, underlining their dominance this season.

Mukul Choudhary’s Dream Comes True

After the match, a special moment unfolded as LSG wicketkeeper-batter Mukul Choudhary finally met Virat Kohli for the first time. The youngster, who has been one of the breakout stars of the season, had earlier expressed his desire to meet the Indian legend.

Ahead of the clash, Mukul had told his social media team, “You have to click good photos when I take an autograph. I had a dream that before he retires, I go and play IPL. Either in his team or in front. I will now play in front.”

Mukul has impressed fans with his aggressive batting, including a stunning 54 off 27 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders. In the match against RCB, he stepped up as wicketkeeper in place of the injured Rishabh Pant and contributed 39 runs with the bat.

Virat Kohli once again led from the front, scoring 49 runs and narrowly missing out on a half-century. Due to an ankle injury sustained earlier, he featured as an impact player and did not take the field during the match.

Kohli currently leads the run charts with 228 runs and holds the Orange Cap. However, he admitted that he is still not fully fit and continues to deal with health issues in challenging weather conditions.

His availability for the upcoming clash against Delhi Capitals remains uncertain, especially with it being RCB’s final home game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
