Rovman Powell took an excellent one-handed catch to dismiss Heinrich Klaasen off Cameron Green, leaving SRH at 117/3 in the ongoing IPL 2026 match.

In the ongoing IPL 2026 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders, Rovman Powell pulled off a remarkable one-handed catch to dismiss Heinrich Klaasen.

The moment came in the 11th over when Cameron Green bowled short and wide. Klaasen (11) attempted a pull but failed to time it cleanly, sending the ball towards the gap between deep square leg and deep mid-wicket. Powell ran to his right and adjusted quickly before diving forward to complete a one-handed catch with his right hand.

The on-field umpires referred the decision to the third umpire. Replays confirmed Powell kept his fingers under the ball throughout despite falling to the ground. The catch stood valid, ending Klaasen’s innings. Sunrisers Hyderabad slipped to 117/3 after the dismissal.

Earlier in the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins chose to bat first. The innings saw early wickets despite a quick start.

Kartik Tyagi struck in the fourth over to dismiss Abhishek Sharma for 15. Travis Head then counterattacked, scoring 61 off 28 balls and reaching his fifty in the seventh over before Varun Chakaravarthy removed him in the ninth over. Heinrich Klaasen added 11 but fell in the 11th over, with Rovman Powell taking a sharp one-handed catch.
