Babar Azam Snubs Indian Stars in His World ODI XI List

Babar Azam’s World ODI XI list excluded Indian stars as he selected Marsh, Head, Rizwan and Rashid Khan in his lineup.

Babar Azam revealed his World ODI XI during a recent interaction, leaving out Indian stars such as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah.

He picked Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head as openers, followed by Aiden Markram at No. 3 and Mohammad Rizwan at No. 4. Rachin Ravindra slotted in at No. 5, while Harry Brook strengthened the middle order. Mitchell Santner and Rashid Khan filled the all-round and spin roles. The pace attack included Jofra Archer, Shaheen Afridi and Kagiso Rabada. Babar named himself as the 12th man.

Notably, Babar is currently playing for Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2026, where the team has reached the final. He has scored over 500 runs this season and is close to 600 as Zalmi prepare to face Hyderabad Kingsmen.

In international cricket, Babar has scored 4366 runs in 61 Tests, 6501 runs in 140 ODIs and 4596 runs in 145 T20Is, with 32 centuries and 106 half-centuries.
