India mourned the loss of legendary singer Asha Bhosle, who passed away at 92 in Mumbai on April 12. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital after a chest infection and exhaustion. Doctors confirmed multi-organ failure as the cause of death.
Her mortal remains were kept at Casa Grande, Lower Parel, from 10 am to 2 pm for final respects. Family members, friends and admirers gathered to pay tribute.
