Chennai Super Kings (CSK) secured a 32-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2026 on April 14 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. KKR chose to bowl first, but CSK dominated with the bat and ball.
Batting first, CSK posted 192/5 in 20 overs. Ayush Mhatre provided early momentum with 38 off 17, hitting 6 fours and 2 sixes. Sanju Samson anchored the innings with 48 off 32, adding 47 runs with Mhatre. Dewald Brevis scored 41 off 29, while Sarfaraz Khan made 23. Shivam Dube and Jamie Overton added late runs.
For KKR, Kartik Tyagi took 2 wickets, Sunil Narine conceded 21 in 4 overs, while Vaibhav Arora gave away 55 in 4 and Cameron Green conceded 30 in 2.

Chasing 193, KKR finished at 160/7 in 20 overs. Finn Allen scored 1, while Narine made 24 off 17. Ajinkya Rahane scored 28 and Angkrish Raghuvanshi added 27 off 19 in a 50-run stand.
Noor Ahmad led CSK’s attack with 3/21 in 4 overs. Ramandeep Singh scored 35 off 23 and Rovman Powell remained 31 not out off 22.
