
Gujarat Titans faced Delhi Capitals (DC) at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Match 14 of IPL 2026. After being put to bat first, the Gujarat Titans posted a strong total of 210/4 in their 20, riding on impressive contributions from the top and middle order.
After a steady start, Jos Buttler led the charge with a quickfire 52 off 27 balls, while skipper Shubman Gill anchored the innings with a composed 70 off 45. The momentum continued as Washington Sundar produced a standout performance, scoring his maiden IPL fifty with a brisk 55 off 32 balls.
Gill had a 104-run stand with Washington Sundar. He was looking good for many more before Lungi Ngidi had him caught at short mid off.

Kuldeep Yadav was the one to dismiss Jos Buttler, while Mukesh Kumar had Sai Sudharsan bowled early in the innings. GT accelerated brilliantly in the latter half, crossing the 200-run mark in the final overs to reach 210 and put Delhi Capitals under pressure.
In response, DC started aggressively, with Pathum Nissanka scoring 41 off 24 balls before departing at 76/1 in 8.1 overs. KL Rahul led the charge with a 29-ball half-century, guiding Delhi to 97/1 after 9 overs.
Rashid Khan turned the game in the middle overs. He removed Sameer Rizvi on the first ball and later dismissed Axar Patel for 2 off 3 balls. Delhi slipped to 134/4, needing 77 from 36 balls. The equation read 69 from 30 balls at 142/4 after 15 overs. However, Rahul fell for 92 off 52 in the 17th over.
Mohammad Siraj conceded 23 runs in the 19th over, bringing Delhi close, leaving 9 needed off 5 balls. However, David Miller failed to take a run in the last ball, which led Delhi to finish on 209, handing Gujarat a narrow 1-run win. With this, GT has registered their first win of IPL 2026.
