Hardik Pandya shared a fun moment in SMAT 2025 when he celebrated his own dismissal by giving Ravi Bishnoi a high-five and a hug after getting out.

Gujarat defeated Baroda by eight wickets in their Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Elite Group C match in Hyderabad, but a moment involving Hardik Pandya became the highlight of the game. Batting on 10, Pandya tried to finish the chase with a big hit but was caught in the deep, giving Ravi Bishnoi the wicket. Instead of walking off quietly, Pandya joined Bishnoi’s celebration, sharing a high-five and a quick hug before leaving the field.

In the match, Gujarat struggled badly with the bat and were dismissed for just 73 in 14.1 overs, with Aarya Desai’s 22 off 15 being the only notable effort. Baroda dominated, led by Raj Limbani’s outstanding 3 for 5 and Atit Sheth’s 2 for 14, as regular wickets and poor shot choices hurt Gujarat. Baroda chased the 74-run target with ease, reaching 74 for 2 in only 6.4 overs. Shashwat Rawat hit 30 off 19, and Vishnu Solanki added 27 off 15, while Hardik Pandya contributed 10.

After five games, Baroda hold three wins and sit third in Group C, with Gujarat fourth on the same number of wins. Baroda next face Haryana, and Gujarat take on Himachal Pradesh on December 6.
