Hardik Pandya Likely to Return vs Rajasthan Royals After Missing DC Game With Fever | Reports

Hardik Pandya is reportedly set to return for the Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026 after recovering from a viral fever that kept him out of the DC match.

Hardik Pandya looks set to return for the Mumbai Indians in their IPL 2026 fixture against the Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday in Guwahati. The Times of India reported his likely comeback after a viral fever kept him out of the Delhi Capitals clash.

Pandya skipped both training sessions before the DC game but travelled with the squad to Delhi. The MI management decided against taking any risk at such an early stage of the tournament. Suryakumar Yadav stepped up and led the side in his absence.

Sources close to the franchise confirmed the illness was never alarming. The rest was purely precautionary. Pandya resumed training after the team flew out of Delhi and is expected to feature against a strong Rajasthan Royals team.
