Team India failed to reach the quarterfinals of the Hong Kong Sixes 2025 after consecutive losses to Kuwait, UAE, and Nepal.
Team India’s campaign at the Hong Kong Sixes 2025 ended in disappointment on Saturday. They did not advance to the quarterfinals after suffering three consecutive defeats. Despite being considered tournament favorites with experienced players like Dinesh Karthik, Robin Uthappa, Stuart Binny, Shahbaz Nadeem, Abhimanyu Mithun, and Priyank Panchal, the team underperformed in the six-a-side format.
India began with a narrow 2-run victory over arch-rivals Pakistan in a rain-affected match. However, they struggled thereafter against lower-ranked teams.
