India delivered a comprehensive performance to defeat South Africa by nine wickets in the third ODI at Visakhapatnam, securing a series victory with a stunning display of batting prowess. After restricting the visitors to a modest 270, the Indian openers launched a breathtaking chase that was completed with more than ten overs to spare.
South Africa’s innings was built almost entirely around a brilliant century from Quinton de Kock. The wicketkeeper-batter, playing with characteristic flair, struck 106 runs off just 89 balls, including eight fours and six sixes. He found solid support from captain Temba Bavuma (48 off 67), with the pair adding 113 runs for the second wicket to lay a stable foundation.
However, once their partnership was broken by Ravindra Jadeja, the Indian bowlers seized control. Prasidh Krishna, despite being expensive, was the chief destroyer, claiming four crucial wickets including de Kock and Aiden Markram.

After his dismissal, Jaiswal assumed the anchor role, meticulously crafting an unbeaten 116 from 121 deliveries, his innings a blend of patience and elegant stroke play.
