“I don’t think so I’m older. I’m still very young, but of course, the way he is and he’s quite young. So, I don’t know what to say about it, to be honest,” quipped Jaiswal.
Despite the age gap, Jaiswal made it clear that he is thoroughly enjoying batting alongside the youngster, praising his aggressive approach and confidence at the crease.
“Of course, it’s amazing. I really enjoyed batting with him and he’s playing amazing. I’m always happy seeing the other end, the way he’s hitting the ball,” Jaiswal said.

Rajasthan Royals delivered a complete batting performance to chase down the 200-plus target with four deliveries to spare. The opening partnership laid the perfect platform, racing to 51 runs in just 3.1 overs before the stand was broken.

Explaining the team’s mindset during the chase, Jaiswal highlighted the importance of intent and clarity in execution.
“We knew that it’s a high-scoring ground. So, we have to keep the intent, and we have to go whenever we feel like. So, I was also thinking, okay, if it is in my range, so I’m going to hit it. And of course, like we needed good start because we have to score more than 200 runs. So, it was pretty clear that we are going to hit the ball if it is in our arc,” Jaiswal explained.
With this victory, Rajasthan Royals registered their sixth win of the season and climbed to third place on the IPL 2026 points table. They will now look to carry forward the momentum when they face Delhi Capitals in their next fixture.
