
The BCCI selected a 15-member India A squad, led by Jitesh Sharma, for the ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup.
The BCCI’s senior men’s selection committee has announced the India A squad for the upcoming ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup. The tournament will be held in Qatar from November 14 to 23.
Wicket-keeper batter Jitesh Sharma has been appointed captain of the 15-member team. All-rounder Naman Dhir will serve as the vice-captain.
Jitesh, 32, recently featured in the ongoing T20I series against Australia. Playing his first T20 since the IPL 2025 season for Royal Challengers Bengaluru a couple of days ago in Hobart, the 32-year-old Jitesh made an instant impact with his unbeaten 22 leading India to their first win in the five-match series against Australia. He was also a key performer in RCB’s victorious IPL campaign, scoring vital lower-order runs at a high strike rate.

A Mix of Youth and Experience
The squad includes several promising young talents. Fourteen-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a sensation in domestic and age-group cricket, has received his first India A call-up. Priyansh Arya, a breakout star of IPL 2025, has also been selected.
The tournament will be played at the West End International Cricket Stadium in Doha. India A are placed in Group B alongside Oman, UAE and Pakistan A.
