Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) secured a tense three-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2026 at Eden Gardens. Chasing 182, LSG reached 182/7 in the final ball to secure the win.
KKR posted 181/4 after being asked to bat first. Ajinkya Rahane scored 41 off 24 balls, while Angkrish Raghuvanshi added 45. The pair built an 84-run stand for the second wicket. Rovman Powell then struck 39 off 24, and Cameron Green contributed 32 off 24. The duo shared an unbeaten 70-run partnership to lift KKR’s total. Digvesh Singh Rathi returned 1/25 in 4 overs for LSG.

LSG began the chase well before Vaibhav Arora struck twice in the fifth over. He dismissed Aiden Markram for 22 and removed Mitchell Marsh soon after. LSG slipped to 42/2.
Ayush Badoni steadied the innings with 54 off 34 balls. He anchored the chase until his dismissal in the 15th over. LSG still required a strong finish.
Mukul Choudhary then delivered a match-winning knock. He scored 54 off 27 balls, including 7 sixes, to take LSG home. Sunil Narine bowled tightly, conceding just 13 runs in 4 overs, but LSG held their nerve.
