Netherlands Announce Squad for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026

Netherlands have announced their 15-member squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, with Scott Edwards leading the side.

Netherlands have named a strong and experienced 15-player squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. This will be the Netherlands’ sixth consecutive appearance at the global T20 event. The team has been placed in Group A alongside India, Pakistan, Namibia and the United States.

Scott Edwards will continue as captain, with experienced players such as Roelof van der Merwe, Max O’Dowd and Bas de Leede forming the core. The selectors have opted for continuity after the team’s recent international assignments.

Notably, Indian-origin opener Vikramjit Singh has missed out following a modest run in recent T20I matches against Bangladesh and during the Scotland Tri-Series.

Netherlands qualified for the tournament by winning the 2025 Europe Regional Final. Their campaign begins against Pakistan on February 7 in Colombo. They will then face Namibia in Delhi on February 10, USA in Chennai on February 13, and hosts India in Ahmedabad on February 18.
