Earlier, Canada had posted 173/4 after choosing to bat. Opener Yuvraj Samra scored 110 off 65 balls, hitting 11 fours and 6 sixes. With this knock, Samra became the first player from an associate nation to score a century in a men’s T20 World Cup. Dilpreet Bajwa contributed 36 off 39 before Kyle Jamieson dismissed him in the 14th over.
