Rohit Sharma started his preparations for the IPL 2026 season with a practice session in Mumbai. The tournament will begin on March 28 and continue until May 31. Rohit represents the Mumbai Indians in the competition.

Rohit trained at Shivaji Park on Saturday, March 7. Many fans gathered around the ground to watch the session. The opener practiced several batting shots during the session. He played flicks, pulls, cover drives, and steady defensive strokes. Fans were seen cheering loudly as Rohit faced deliveries in the nets.

Notably, Rohit Sharma remains one of the most successful captains in IPL history. He has scored 7046 runs in 272 IPL matches with 2 centuries and 47 fifties.
