He played flicks, pulls, cover drives, and steady defensive strokes. Fans were seen cheering loudly as Rohit faced deliveries in the nets.

Notably, Rohit Sharma remains one of the most successful captains in IPL history. He has scored 7046 runs in 272 IPL matches with 2 centuries and 47 fifties. He led the Mumbai Indians to 5 titles in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020. The franchise, however, struggled to maintain that success in recent seasons.
