Sri Lanka has announced their 15-member squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, with Dasun Shanaka named captain.

Top-order stability comes from Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Kusal Janith Perera and Charith Asalanka. All-round strength remains a major asset, with Wanindu Hasaranga, Kamindu Mendis and Dunith Wellalage providing depth with bat and ball.

Sri Lanka’s attack features proven pace options Dushmantha Chameera and Matheesha Pathirana, supported by mystery spinner Maheesh Theekshana. The team is currently playing a home T20I series against England, with the visitors leading 2-0 ahead of the final match tomorrow.

Sri Lanka last won the tournament in 2014 after defeating India in the final.
