However, as per footage released from the Indian training net sessions, Suryakumar Yadav was seen imitating Usman Tariq’s peculiar action, while Ishan Kishan and others were slamming sixes and boundaries to get a solid simulation ahead of the clash. The clip went viral with over 175K likes within one hour, and Suryakumar Yadav also spoke about being prepared for what is about to come.
The potential Usman Tariq challenge is one of the most anticipated aspects that could trouble the Indian batters because of his unique motion, and with the Indian team ready to take on the challenge head-on, it seems the team is fully prepared.
Notably, India are at the top of the Group A points table, having won 2 out of 2 matches against Namibia and USA. Pakistan have also won 2 matches, against USA and the Netherlands. They will now face each other before their third and fourth group-stage matches, as both teams are strong contenders to move into the Super 8 stage.
