His elated reaction after the call went his way quickly went viral as he shared an excited hug with Australia captain Mitchell Marsh.
India, who opted to bowl first, had lost all previous tosses on the tour, including three in the ODI series and the first two T20Is. The streak of bad luck had become a talking point among fan. The Indian skipper seemed visibly relieved as his team finally gained the early advantage in the final T20I of the series.

India made three changes for the third T20I against Australia in Hobart, bringing in Jitesh Sharma, Arshdeep Singh, and Washington Sundar in place of Sanju Samson, Harshit Rana, and Kuldeep Yadav. Australia made a single change, with Sean Abbott replacing pacer Josh Hazlewood.
The visitors will aim to bounce back after losing the second T20I, with the first match in Canberra washed out due to rain. This match also marks India’s first-ever T20I at the Bellerive Oval.

In the ongoing game, Australia posted a solid total of 186 for 6, driven by quick runs from the top order. At the time of writing, India were 111 for 3 in their chase.
