India vs Pakistan will headline the T20 World Cup, with the arch-rivals set to meet on February 15 in Colombo. A neutral venue was chosen due to political tensions between the countries.

Both sides are placed in Group A alongside the USA, Namibia and the Netherlands. The tournament begins on February 7 and is scheduled to conclude on March 8 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, though the final will shift to Sri Lanka if Pakistan qualify.

India’s group fixtures include the USA on February 7 in Mumbai, Namibia on February 12 in Delhi, Pakistan on February 15 in Colombo and the Netherlands on February 18 in Ahmedabad.

India enter the event after defeating Pakistan three times in the Asia Cup 2025, including the title match. Adding further significance, Rohit Sharma, the champion in 2007 and 2024, has been appointed the official ambassador for the 2026 edition.
