ICC has announced the prize money distribution for the T20 World Cup 2026, confirming a total pool of $11.25 million.

The International Cricket Council confirmed the final prize money distribution after the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. The tournament featured a total prize pool of $11.25 million.

Champions India received the highest payout of $2,639,423. Runners-up New Zealand earned $1,422,692. South Africa collected $1,005,577 for finishing third. England secured $974,423 for fourth place.

Each team also received a base participation amount of $225,000 along with additional rewards based on results in the group stage, Super 8s, semi-finals and final.

Earlier, the Board of Control for Cricket in India had also announced a cash reward of Rs 131 crore for the national team. India defeated New Zealand by 96 runs in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The board will distribute the prize among players and support staff. Each of the 15 squad members will receive Rs 6 crore. The remaining Rs 41 crore will go to the support staff and other members of the team setup. Distribution among staff will follow the internal hierarchy. The announcement came shortly after the title win.
