Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Carnage In Eliminator

The carnage unfolded in the third over of the innings when Cummins returned to attack. After Yashasvi Jaiswal collected a single on the first ball, Sooryavanshi immediately took control. He first drilled a blistering boundary through extra cover to move past 600 runs in the season before launching a brutal assault on the SRH captain.

Cummins tried testing the youngster with different lengths and pace variations, but Sooryavanshi had all the answers. A slot ball on middle and leg was dispatched over long-on for a massive six before the left-hander followed it up with another incredible maximum over third man off a short delivery angled outside off.

The teenager then completed a hat-trick of sixes in spectacular style. Cummins attempted a slower delivery on a fuller length outside off, but Sooryavanshi opened his shoulders and smashed it straight back over the bowler’s head for a towering 78-metre hit.

During the innings, the youngster achieved another major milestone by crossing 600 runs in IPL 2026. In the process, he also registered the highest batting strike rate ever recorded in a single IPL season among players with 600 or more runs.
