Virat Kohli Still Fitter Than Most Current Players, Says Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh praised Virat Kohli’s exceptional fitness, saying he remains fitter than most current players and still has plenty to offer India in ODIs.

Legendary India spinner Harbhajan Singh has praised Virat Kohli’s fitness, stating that he remains fitter than many current Indian players. Kohli last played international cricket in March during the 2025 Champions Trophy and is set to return for the ODI leg of India’s upcoming series against Australia after a six-month break.

Harbhajan noted that Kohli continues to maintain exceptional fitness standards, which younger players often follow. He believes Kohli still has much to offer in ODIs and can continue to be a key performer for India in the limited-overs format.

“Please don’t ask any questions about Virat’s fitness. When it comes to fitness, he’s a guru. Everyone follows what he does. There’s absolutely no concern about Virat Kohli’s fitness; he’s fit, probably fitter than many of those currently playing alongside him,” stated Harbhajan while speaking on JioStar’s ‘Amul Cricket Live’.

“In today’s international cricket, he’s arguably the fittest player out there. Now, I’m just looking forward to seeing Virat back in action. Fans have missed watching him, and personally, I’d love to see him continue playing the ODI format for a while longer because he still has so much to offer,” he added.
