WATCH | Virat Kohli Playfully Pushes Darryl Mitchell Off Field After Another Century

Virat Kohli playfully pushed Daryl Mitchell off the field after the New Zealand batter scored yet another ODI century against India in Indore.

Daryl Mitchell continued his strong run against India with another century in the third ODI at Indore. He walked in during the second over after early wickets and started cautiously. As the innings progressed, he increased the scoring rate. Mitchell reached his 9th ODI hundred and his 4th against India in just 11 innings.

He added a 219-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Glenn Phillips, who also scored his 2nd ODI century. Mitchell looked set for a double hundred before Mohammed Siraj dismissed him for 137.

As he walked off, Virat Kohli appreciated the effort but also playfully pushed Daryll Mitchell toward the boundary. Both players shared a light-hearted smile.

Notably. Daryl Mitchell has enjoyed an outstanding ODI series against India, scoring 352 runs across three matches. His tally includes two centuries and one half-century. That total stands as the second-highest in a three-match ODI series, behind the 360 runs scored by Babar Azam and Shubman Gill. Mitchell also owns the best ODI average against India among batters with 500 or more runs.
