Ishan Kishan grabbed attention after Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Chennai Super Kings by 5 wickets at Chepauk in IPL 2026. The SRH batter played a match-winning knock of 70 off 47 balls and guided his side through a tense chase. Soon after sealing the win, Kishan celebrated in front of the packed Chennai crowd with animated gestures that quickly went viral on social media.

The wicketkeeper-batter first copied CSK’s famous “Whistle Podu” celebration by placing his fingers near his lips and pretending to whistle toward the stands. Moments later, Ishan Kishan added another gesture by waving his hands toward the exits while mocking the CSK fans.

Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Chennai Super Kings by 5 wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium to confirm their IPL 2026 playoff spot. Chasing 181, SRH reached 181/5 with one over remaining after strong knocks from Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen. Kishan anchored the innings with 70 off 47 balls, while Klaasen hit 47 off 26 to put SRH in control. Mukesh Choudhary and Anshul Kamboj picked up late wickets, but Hyderabad stayed calm in the chase.

Earlier, CSK posted 180/7 after Ruturaj Gaikwad chose to bat first. Sanju Samson gave Chennai a flying start with 27 off 13 balls. Dewald Brevis top-scored with 44 off 27, while Kartik Sharma added 32 and Shivam Dube made 26. Pat Cummins starred with the ball, taking 3/28 in 4 overs.
