The entertaining moment unfolded during the final over of the innings when Shardul Thakur was handed bowling duties. On the fourth delivery, Shardul appeared to dismiss Jadeja, triggering celebrations from the Mumbai Indians camp.
However, the siren immediately followed as the third umpire checked the delivery and confirmed that Shardul had overstepped. The wicket was overturned after the delivery was declared a no-ball.
Instead of reacting angrily, Shardul took the moment sportingly while Jadeja cheekily celebrated with a playful fist pump and shouted, “Come on.”
The funny exchange instantly became one of the standout moments of the match as players from both teams shared smiles despite the high-pressure situation.
Jadeja Punishes Shardul After The No-Ball Drama
The banter did not stop there. After receiving the lifeline, Jadeja attacked Shardul aggressively and smashed him for back-to-back boundaries in the same over.
