Rohit Sharma looked frustrated after Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah exchanged words during MI vs PBKS match in IPL 2026.

During a key over, captain Hardik Pandya changed the field and instructed Jasprit Bumrah to shift position. The pacer initially disagreed but later followed the call after a brief exchange of words.

Bumrah’s body language suggested frustration, while Pandya remained animated with his instructions. Cameras then showed former skipper Rohit Sharma in the dugout, where he appeared visibly unhappy and frustrated with the situation.

Notably, Rohit Sharma missed Mumbai Indians’ match against Punjab Kings after picking up a hamstring injury in the previous game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

The team’s senior players continue to struggle. Jasprit Bumrah has gone wicketless after 5 matches, bowling 19 overs at an economy of 8.63, his highest since 2015. Captain Hardik Pandya has also failed to deliver, scoring 81 runs in 4 matches and taking 2 wickets. Mumbai Indians now trail table-toppers PBKS by 7 points, raising concerns over their campaign.
