Sanjiv Goenka’s heartfelt concern for injured pacer Prince Yadav became a viral highlight despite LSG’s defeat to Gujarat Titans.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Sanjiv Goenka grabbed attention off the field with a touching gesture toward young pacer Prince Yadav after their clash against Gujarat Titans (GT).

During the game, Prince suffered an injury scare when he was struck on the hand in his follow-through by a powerful shot from Shubman Gill. The impact required immediate medical attention, but the youngster showed remarkable determination by completing his full quota of four overs.

Post-match, Goenka personally approached Prince while he was in conversation with veteran Ishant Sharma, checking on his injured hand asking, “Lagi to nahi? (Did it hurt?)”

The LSG owner also exchanged greetings with Ishant during the interaction. The gesture quickly went viral, earning admiration from fans across social media for Goenka’s genuine concern for his player.

Gujarat Titans Outclass LSG in Chase

While the off-field moment drew praise, LSG endured a disappointing outing as they suffered a seven-wicket loss against Gujarat Titans.

Chasing a target of 165 at the Ekana Stadium, Gujarat rode on a solid 84-run stand for the second wicket between Jos Buttler and captain Shubman Gill. Buttler scored a fluent 60 off 37 balls, while Gill continued his impressive form with 56, registering his second consecutive half-century.
