The WPL 2026 auction will feature a strong Marquee group led by Deepti Sharma, Alyssa Healy and Laura Wolvaardt, as part of a 277-player pool divided into 39 sets for the November 27 event in New Delhi. Renuka Singh is the only other Indian in this elite eight-player group, joined by Sophie Devine, Sophie Ecclestone, Amelia Kerr and Meg Lanning.
Renuka enters with a reserve price of INR 40 lakh, Wolvaardt at INR 30 lakh, while the others begin at INR 50 lakh. A total of 19 players have opted for the maximum base price of INR 50 lakh, including Phoebe Litchfield, Harleen Deol, Uma Chetry, Kranti Goud, Pratika Rawal, Pooja Vastrakar and Georgia Wareham.
Bangladesh’s Shorna Akter and West Indies’ Jahzara Claxton are the youngest capped players in the WPL 2026 auction pool. The five franchises will operate with a combined purse of INR 41.1 crore after retentions, with UP Warriorz holding the largest amount at INR 14.5 crore.

The five franchises collectively hold 73 open slots, including 23 overseas positions. Eight Right to Match cards will be available, including four with the Warriorz.
India dominates the list with 194 players, followed by Australia with 23, England with 22, New Zealand with 13, South Africa with 11, and West Indies with 4, while Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have 3 each.
