Before the start of Australia’s innings in the third ODI in Hobart, India Women formed a guard of honour for Healy as she walked out to bat. Despite being fierce competitors on the field, the gesture highlighted the spirit of sportsmanship.

The moment was also captured on social media. Broadcaster 7Cricket posted: “For the final time in ODI cricket, Alyssa Healy strides to the middle with the bat, accompanied by a guard of honour from India 🙏”
Even in her farewell match, Healy showed her class. Australia lost an early wicket after being sent in to bat first, but the captain steadied the innings.
