Axar Patel and Shivam Dube combined for an excellent relay catch to dismiss Will Jacks for 35 off 20 off Arshdeep Singh.

India pulled off a brilliant fielding effort during the 14th over of the India vs England T20 World Cup semi-final at Wankhede Stadium. Arshdeep Singh dismissed Will Jacks, who scored 35 from 20 balls.

In the 14th over, Arshdeep bowled a low full toss outside. Jacks attempted a big shot toward the sweeper cover but sliced the ball high. Axar Patel ran quickly to his left and caught the ball near the boundary. However, his speed carried him toward the boundary rope. Axar quickly tossed the ball back inside the field. Shivam Dube, running from deep point, completed the relay catch safely.

The excellent catch ended a dangerous stand for England. The visitors reached 172 for 5 after 13.6 overs after this wicket.

In the match, England continues their chase of 254. The team reached 185 for 5 after 15 overs. At the time of writing, Jacob Bethell is leading the effort with 81* runs. Sam Curran remains at the crease on 5. Earlier, Will Jacks scored 35 from 20 balls.

India built a massive total of 253 in the first innings. Sanju Samson played the main role with 89 off 42 balls. Shivam Dube added 43, while Ishan Kishan made 39. Hardik Pandya scored 27 and Tilak Varma contributed 21. For England, Will Jacks returned figures of 2 for 40, while Adil Rashid took 2 for 41.
