Bangladesh Women will travel to India in mid-December for a white-ball series featuring three ODIs and three T20Is under the ICC Future Tours Programme. The series is likely to take place across Kolkata and Cuttack.
The ODI series will also launch the new cycle of the ICC Women’s ODI Championship for both teams. Preparations for the tour are underway, with Bangladesh expected to depart around December 14 or 15. The visit comes after the two sides met earlier in the Women’s World Cup 2025, where their match was washed out due to rain.
Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana Joty will miss the upcoming National Cricket League to focus on her fitness ahead of the India tour in December. Spinner Nahida Akter and pacer Marufa Akter will also sit out the domestic event, beginning November 8 at BKSP, as part of workload management. Nahida is recovering from an injury, while Marufa has been advised rest after a demanding tournament.
