Rajasthan Royals star Vaibhav Sooryavanshi reportedly received a blank cheque for bat sponsorship after scoring 680 IPL 2026 runs.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s sensational IPL 2026 campaign has reportedly started a massive bat sponsorship battle among leading companies. The 15-year-old Rajasthan Royals opener currently leads the Orange Cap race with 680 runs at a strike rate of 242.85.

According to reports from The Sunday Gaurdian, several major brands have approached the youngster for bat sponsorship deals. One company has even offered him a “blank cheque” to secure endorsement rights.

Sooryavanshi currently earns around INR 5 crore annually through his existing bat contract. However, reports suggest brands are now prepared to offer more than INR 12 crore per year, nearly 3 times his current deal.

The figure could place the teenage batter above established stars like Shubman Gill in bat sponsorship earnings if the deal goes through.

All Eyes on Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Ahead of Qualifier 2

In the tournament, Rajasthan Royals have marched into IPL 2026 Qualifier 2 after a 44-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in Mullanpur. Sooryavanshi had destroyed the SRH bowling attack with a stunning 97 off just 29 balls, smashing 12 sixes to help Rajasthan post 243. Hyderabad never recovered from the assault and eventually lost by 44 runs.

Gujarat, meanwhile, entered the match after suffering a crushing 92-run defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Qualifier 1. RCB piled up 254 before bowling GT out for 162.

RR’s crucial match is scheduled against Gujarat Titans on May 29. The Titans and Royals have already met twice in IPL 2026, with both teams winning 1 match each ahead of the high-pressure playoff.
