Bangladesh has rescheduled ODI match timings against New Zealand to 11 AM starts to reduce floodlight usage amid the ongoing energy crisis.
Bangladesh Cricket Board have rescheduled match schedules to support energy-saving efforts during the fuel crisis. The board moved several international fixtures to daytime slots.
New Zealand will play two ODIs in Dhaka on April 17 and 20, followed by the third in Chattogram on April 23, with T20Is scheduled from April 27 to May 2.
All 3 ODIs will now start at 11:00 AM in Dhaka and Chattogram. Officials expect matches to end by 6:30 PM, reducing floodlight usage by nearly 4 hours per game.

The men’s T20I series will also see changes. The first 2 matches will begin at 2:00 PM instead of 6:00 PM and finish by 5:10 PM. The third T20I remains unchanged.
The women’s series shifts to daytime. Matches against Sri Lanka on April 28, April 30 and May 2 will now start at 1:30 PM in Sylhet. The board aims to maximise natural light across all fixtures with this move.
