
India all-rounder Hardik Pandya won hearts after the match when he personally checked on a cameraman injured by his six, applied an ice pack and offered a warm hug.
Hardik Pandya drew widespread appreciation for a thoughtful gesture after the fifth T20I against South Africa in Ahmedabad. During his innings, his first ball resulted in a flat six toward long-off that struck a cameraman on the left shoulder.

After the match, Hardik Pandya personally checked on the injured cameraman. He applied an ice pack following initial treatment from team physio Kamlesh Jain and offered a hug. The cameraman responded with a broad smile during the interaction.

In the match, the 32-year-old later earned the Player of the Match award. Hardik arrived after a steady start and accelerated through the middle and death overs. Supported by Tilak Varma, who top-scored with 73 off 42 balls, the pair added a century stand.
India posted 231 for 5. South Africa began the chase strongly through Quinton de Kock and Dewald Brevis. Pandya removed Brevis to start a collapse from 120-1 to 135-5. India closed out the match and sealed the series 3-1.
