Hardik Pandya is expected to return to the Indian team for the white-ball series against South Africa after recovering from injury.

Hardik Pandya is set to return to action next month after missing the Asia Cup 2025 final and the ongoing series in Australia. Pandya has begun rehabilitation for a quadriceps injury at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru and is expected to regain full fitness ahead of India’s white-ball series against South Africa. He had checked into the facility last week and rejoined training on Wednesday after a short Diwali break.

Pandya played six matches in the Asia Cup, scoring 47 runs and taking four wickets before being sidelined. India will host South Africa for two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is starting November 14.

Full Schedule Announced for India-South Africa Series

Meanwhile, India’s home series against South Africa will begin with two Test matches, starting at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens from November 14 to 18. The second Test will be held in Guwahati from November 22 to 26. The three-match ODI series follows, with games scheduled in Ranchi on November 30, Raipur on December 3, and Visakhapatnam on December 6.

The tour concludes with five T20Is, to be played in Cuttack, Mullanpur, Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad on December 9, 11, 14, 17, and 19. The series marks India’s final home assignment of 2025 before their tour of New Zealand in January.
