India beat New Zealand by 7 wickets in the second T20I at Raipur to move 2–0 ahead in the series. Suryakumar Yadav led the chase with an unbeaten 82 off 37 balls, hitting nine fours and four sixes. Ishan Kishan provided strong support with 76 from 32 deliveries as India finished the chase with 28 balls remaining.
Earlier, New Zealand posted 208 for 6 in 20 overs. Captain Mitchell Santner anchored the innings with 47 not out off 27 balls. Rachin Ravindra scored 44 off 26 before falling to Kuldeep Yadav. Devon Conway began aggressively but was out for 19 off 9 balls. For India, Harshit Rana broke key partnerships, while Varun Chakaravarthy dismissed Tim Seifert for 24. Kuldeep also removed Glenn Phillips for 19.

In response, India reached 209/3 in 15.2 overs. SKY led the charge and Ishan Kishan set the tempo with 76 off 32 balls. Shivam Dube supported with 36 not out. India lost early wickets as Matt Henry dismissed Sanju Samson for 6. Jacob Duffy then removed Abhishek Sharma for a golden duck. Ish Sodhi dismissed Kishan late.
