
India defeated New Zealand by eight wickets in the third T20I as Suryakumar Yadav and Abhishek Sharma scored unbeaten half-centuries to seal the series.
India secured an eight-wicket win over New Zealand to seal a 3–0 T20I series sweep in Guwahati on Sunday. India chased a target of 154 with ease, finishing on 155 for 2 in just 10 overs.
Abhishek Sharma led the charge with an unbeaten 68, while captain Suryakumar Yadav supported him with 57*. India had suffered an early setback when Matt Henry dismissed Sanju Samson for a golden duck on the first ball. Ishan Kishan then scored 28 off 13 balls before falling to Ish Sodhi.
Earlier, India delivered disciplined bowling to restrict New Zealand to 153/9 in 20 overs. India had won the toss and chose to bowl. Harshit Rana struck in the first over, removing Devon Conway for 1. Hardik Pandya followed up by dismissing Rachin Ravindra in the second over. Jasprit Bumrah made an immediate impact, trapping Tim Seifert for 12 with his first ball.

Mark Chapman and Glenn Phillips added 50 runs to steady New Zealand. Ravi Bishnoi broke the stand, removing Chapman on the final ball of the 12th over. Pandya then dismissed Daryl Mitchell for 14. Bumrah returned to claim Mitchell Santner for 27 and Kyle Jamieson for 3.
