
BCCI reveals Team India’s 2026–27 home calendar featuring 22 matches across formats, including the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has officially announced the fixtures for India national cricket team’s international home season for 2026–27.
The schedule features a comprehensive lineup of 22 matches to be played across 17 cities, ensuring widespread fan engagement across the country. Four international teams — West Indies cricket team, Sri Lanka national cricket team, Zimbabwe national cricket team, and Australia national cricket team — are set to tour India in what promises to be an action-packed season across formats.
West Indies and Sri Lanka Tours Headline White-Ball Action
The home season will kick off with the West Indies tour of India on September 27, 2026. The series will include three ODIs followed by five T20Is. The ODI matches are scheduled to be played in Trivandrum, Guwahati, and New Chandigarh, while the T20I leg will take place in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
Following that, India will host Sri Lanka in December 2026 for a white-ball series featuring three ODIs and three T20Is. The ODI matches will be played in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad, while Rajkot, Cuttack, and Pune will host the T20I fixtures.

Zimbabwe Series and Border-Gavaskar Trophy Finale
The new year will begin with Zimbabwe touring India for a three-match ODI series in January 2027. The matches are set to be held in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
The season will conclude with the highly anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy, where India will face Australia in a five-match Test series starting January 21, 2027, in Nagpur. The remaining matches will be played in Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad, setting the stage for a thrilling contest between two of the world’s top cricketing nations.
